What I Got For My Birthday 2015
So as it was my birthday earlier on this month and I've decided to write a blog post on some of the things I got from my friends. I love every single thing I received and can't wait to start using them :) I can now say I have enough bath/shower products that will last me a lifetime. Also, the 'Fearne' nail polishes are my favourite brand and was so happy when I saw them. I definitely recomend them, they're so good.

L'OREAL first impressions
Firstly, Happy new year to you all! I definitely know 2015 will be a tough year for me but hopefully I will create many amazing memories & meet some lovely people along the way so happy 2015!
Now onto my first impressions...
Recently I took a trip to boots where they held an offer if you spent £14.99 you would get a free gift box with four different products in it (lipstick, mascara, kohl liner and nail varnish.) I thought this was an amazing offer as it should have been worth over £30 so I had to go buy some more makeup asap! I am so pleased with my purchases so far as each product is good quality & worth the price.
First of all I tried the 'True Match' foundation which I bought in the shade rose vanilla. (£9.99) The reason I bought this was because I heard so many good reviews about it & have been meaning to try it out for ages. My first impression was that it was quite light & watery compared to the other foundations I have previously used. However it's very nice looking on the skin, blendable & light so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something with a fuller coverage. But altogether It's a lovely product & I would give it 9/10.
Secondly, I decided to buy a mono eyeshadow in the shade 'Cameleon'. (£5.49) The reason I bought this was because of how pretty the colour & texture is, It was almost to gorgeous to use! The colour is almost a bluey green however looks light blue when you apply it, another advantage is that it's very pigmented. I would give it a 6/10.
From the box I tried the lipstick in the shade 'Scarlette Creme 461' (£6.99) which is a gorgeous bold red colour & lasts for a few hours. I was very happy with the colour payoff because I wasn't really expecting much from it & will definitely be purchasing this lipstick in other colours - 8/10.
The 'Volume Million Lashes: So Couture Black' mascara (£10.99) is what I was looking forward to try the most as I do love a good mascara & have never tried any of the l'oreal mascaras before but I have to say the first time I tried it I wasn't wowed by it. I mean, it's good but i wouldn't say it's anything special. So then I decided to try it with my Kiko Milano 'Overblown Volume' mascara & it looks amazing! - 6/10.
Lastly, the product I was most surprised by was the red nail varnish 'Exquisite Scarlet 408' (£4.99) & I have to say this is one of the best nail varnishes I have ever used as mostly because it doesn't chip in atleast a day of wearing it. Most of the nail varnishes I use chip very easily. Also it leaves a glossy finish & only needs around two coats. I am very, very pleased with this nail varnish & honestly cannot wait to get a whole collection of them! I would give it a 10/10.

Current Beauty Favourites
I've been loving a lot of beauty products lately and thought I'd share with you which ones I've been using the most. I hope you find this post helpful in any shape or form as it ranges from lipsticks to perfumes to cleansers so i'm sure there's something for everyone. Enjoy :)
I have been LOVING the 'honey bronzer' (Shade 02) from the bodyshop (£13) recently for many reasons as 1. It's not a harsh colour so it's great for pale(ish) skin tones 2. It's a matte colour; it doesn't have any shimmers in the powder 3. It's not orangey looking on the skin 4. It's great for the autumn/winter months.
To take off my makeup I use 'B. Pure Micellar Water' as it's great for all skin types and generally does the job. You can buy it from superdrug (4.99) but it's always on offer with other B. products.
I have awful dry skin when it comes to autumn/winter time so i'm always on a look out for products aimed at dry skin etc and this cleanser 'Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Extra-Mild' (£16) is so good. Even though I still get dry patches, my skin has improved since I've been using this.
This moisturizer by 'No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream Dry/Very Dry Skin' (£12.50) is definitely my favourite skincare product this autumn/winter as I've gone through so many other moisturizers that have done nothing for my skin and this is the only moisturizer I've tried that actually works. So if you have very dry skin like me then definitely check it out.
I absolutely LOVE purple lipsticks and i'm currently building up a collection of them so I bought this one from the body shop in the shade '240 Damson In Distress' (£10) It is worth the price as I wore it the other day and after about 3 hours It was still on my lips. I was surprised as I thought the colour would've rubbed off after about 10 minutes. I'll be definitely buying more from the body shop.
This is my all time favourite winter perfume as I've been wearing it each winter for about 3 years as I love it so much. Again, It's from the body shop called 'White Musk Libertine' (£14) and it smells sooo good. (The one I have is a Leona Lewis limited edition version which they sadly don't sell anymore)
This 'ColorBurst Matte Balm' in the shade 'Sultry' (£7.99) is a really nice autumnal colour which is great to wear at this time of year. The colour stays on for a while and just an all round good lip product.
I've left my best till last as OMG this perfume is my absolute favourite. And guess where it's from... Primark. 'Polka' (£2) I expected primark perfumes to have a cheap sweet/sickly smell but it's the total opposite. It's quite a musky smell and apparently it's a dupe for 'Lady Million' however I prefer 'Polka' a lot more. The only bad thing about this perfume is that the smell fades quickly but other than that, IT'S SO WORTH THE PRICE.
Thanks for reading :)

Introduction & Hobbycraft haul
Hello everyone, I'm Leah and i'm 15 years old, I've wanted to start a blog for a while now but just never had the time or confidence so this is pretty big for me. However I've learnt in life if you want do something you should just go for it. I don't know how this whole blogging thing will turn out as I doubt anyone would even read it but here I go... hope you enjoy xx
Yesterday I managed to go to hobbycraft for my art supplies as I'm starting my final piece in art next week and needed to get some bits and bobs. I'm creating a journal so I needed a few crafty things to make the journal a bit prettier and more presentable. This what I bought:
